SESSION ONE WILL SET THE SCENE AND CONTEXT FOR THE CONFERENCE. TWO KEY NOTES, FROM TWO INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE AT THE TOP OF THEIR GAME AND IN A POSITION TO COMMENT ON THE CHARACTERISTICS OF A WORLD CITY AND HOW LIVERPOOL COMPARES TO THE GLOBAL SCENE AND WHAT THEY BELIEVE IS REQUIRED FOR LIVERPOOL TO ACHIEVE ITS AMBITIONS.

SESSION THREE WILL LOOK AT THE MOVE TOWARDS REGENERATION AS A GENERATOR FOR GROWTH OF WORLD CITIES WITH EMPHASIS ON THE RETAIL SECTOR USING THE GROSVENOR PARADISE PROJECT AND OTHER RETAIL LED SCHEMES AS AN EXAMPLE OF A WORLD CLASS RETAIL PROJECT.
